Always wanted to set a question with X and Y. Identify.
This commercial, co-starring X, is a 90-second talk between strangers as X walks up on a discount shoe store (Shoe Circus) in a mall and notices Y buying shoes inside. The salesman is trying to sell Y shoes that are a size too big. X begins to inform him about a pair of shoes called Conquistadors that run "a little tight" and sells him on them in a size 10 (whereas the store clerk was attempting an 11). As Y is buying the shoes he holds up his discount card, this card uses a slightly altered version of his own mugshot of his arrest in New Mexico in 1977 for a traffic violation. As they are walking out of the mall, X asks Y if he has melded his mind to other developers, after getting a yes, he then asks if they are working on a way to make computers edible, again getting a yes.

X is an erotic comic, whose protagonist is an Italian hitlady of the same name. The comics are a mixture of action/adventure and adult situations. The comic follows the adventures of X, a mercenary assassin who carries out various murders for hire that drive the storyline, and whose every move is accompanied by bisexual activity, with strangers, her employers, and often with her victims. X ?? I came across this when i was searching for something more local...
X
The meaning of the good-to-hear word X indicates a white pigeon which has been shown flying around the heroine. A pure white pigeon is a symbol of innocence, gentleness, peace and liberation and aspires to fly high and hence the lovely dove in the movie has been named X! X?

To be legally accepted as an X, one has to be so dumb as to be unable to count till 20, list the days of the week, or fail to remember the names of one's parents, the Court said on Friday.
Under Section 84 of the Indian Penal Code, a person is not liable to be prosecuted if they are of unsound mind, or incapable of comprehending the nature of the criminal act and the fact that it is against the law.
The Supreme Court identified just four kinds of people who could be classified mentally unsound — X , the very ill, lunatics and drunks.

X looks like a young teen because of a growth hormone deficiency and the effects of too many blows to the head, a study says."This could explain his delayed natural growth, delayed onset of puberty and lack of libido," reads the study, published in the latest issue of the Canadian Medical Association Journal.
Associate Professor Claude Cyr, a paediatrician at the University of Sherbrooke in Quebec, wrote the study with help from two experts, his sons Antoine, aged five, and Louis-Olivier, aged seven."We hypothesise that X has growth hormone deficiency and hypogonadotropic hypogonadism from repeated trauma," the study reads.
The researchers identified 50 significant losses of consciousness.Of these, 43 incidents involved head trauma with loss of consciousness representing grade three concussions. And X had 26 concussions resulting from a blow with a blunt object.
X lost conciousness eight times after being hit with a club, four times after explosions, three times after being shot, three times after being poisoned with chloroform, three times after car accidents, twice by falling and once due to mild dehydration, according to the researchers.
X never shaves, never grows taller and does not "exhibit signs of pubertal development", according to the report.
"He has the physique of a child, but his conduct suggests that of an adult. Throughout his adventures, he has no girlfriend or marriage plans to curtail his activities."

Etymo
There are claims that the phrase originates in 17th century slang, where a "_____ ______" was work that was paid for in advance, e.g. "His land 'twas sold to pay his debts; All went that way, for a ____________, as one would say." Unfortunately, the Smythe quotation is a red herring. He was simply referring to what was already known as the "____ ______ month", or the month of no pay, and how difficult it was to get work out of the men during the _____ _____ month. This use of '_____ ________' to refer to pay that was issued before the work was done was an allusion to using one's money to buy a useless thing (metaphorically, " a _____________"). Most men paid in advance apparently either wasted the money on drink or other such vices or used it to pay debts.

Cadaeic Cadenza is a 1996 short story by Mike Keith. It is an example of constrained writing, a book with restrictions on how it can be written. It is also one of the most prodigious examples of _________.
Cadaeic Cadenza has perhaps the harshest limitations on the exact words that can be used, but also results in uncommon sounding language. In addition to the main restriction, the author attempts to mimic portions, or entire works, of different types and pieces of literature (The Raven, Jabberwocky, the lyrics of Yes, The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock, Rubaiyat, Hamlet, and Carl Sandburg's Grass) in story, structure, and rhyme.
The first part of Cadaeic Cadenza is the poem Near a Raven.
Poe, E.
Near a Raven
Midnights so dreary, tired and weary,
Silently pondering volumes extolling all by-now obsolete lore.
During my rather long nap - the weirdest tap!
An ominous vibrating sound disturbing my chamber's antedoor.
"This", I whispered quietly, "I ignore".
—Mike Keith, First verse of Near a Raven

A ______ is penned up in a steel chamber, along with the following device (which must be secured against direct interference by the ____): in a Geiger counter there is a tiny bit of radioactive substance, so small, that perhaps in the course of the hour one of the atoms decays, but also, with equal probability, perhaps none; if it happens, the counter tube discharges and through a relay releases a hammer which shatters a small flask of hydrocyanic acid. If one has left this entire system to itself for an hour, one would say that the ____ still lives if meanwhile no atom has decayed. The psi-function of the entire system would express this by having in it the living and dead ________ (pardon the expression) mixed or smeared out in equal parts.
It is typical of these cases that an indeterminacy originally restricted to the atomic domain becomes transformed into macroscopic indeterminacy, which can then be resolved by direct observation. That prevents us from so naively accepting as valid a "blurred model" for representing reality. In itself it would not embody anything unclear or contradictory. There is a difference between a shaky or out-of-focus photograph and a snapshot of clouds and fog banks.
The above text is a translation of two paragraphs from a much larger original article, which appeared in the German magazine Naturwissenschaften ("Natural Sciences") in 1935.

Fill in the blanks
The theory was described by Nassim Nicholas Taleb in his 2007 book __________. Taleb regards many scientific discoveries as _________—"undirected" and unpredicted. He gives the rise of the Internet, the personal computer, World War I, and the September 11, 2001 attacks as examples of ___________ events.
The term ____________ comes from the commonplace Western cultural assumption that 'All ________ are white'. In that context, a __________ was a metaphor for something that could not exist. The 17th Century discovery of ____________ in Australia metamorphosed the term to connote that the perceived impossibility actually came to pass. Taleb notes that John Stuart Mill first used the ______________ narrative to discuss falsification.
Criteria to identify a ____________ Event based on the author's criteria are:
1. Event has appeared by complete surprise.
2. Event has a major impact.
3. Event, after it has appeared, is 'explained' by human hindsight.

Sync
Real or imagined, the effect is usually created by pausing a CD of the album at the very beginning, starting the DVD or tape of the film with the TV volume muted, and un-pausing the CD when the black-and-white MGM lion roars for the third time. (Note some versions have a color lion also. The black and white lion is the right one to use for the best results.) A minority of devotees argue that un-pausing the CD on the first roar produces a superior alignment. The effect can be repeated during the film by restarting the CD when the 'Cowardly Lion', during his initial scene, roars for the third time.
Another synch point is the appearance of credits for producer Mervyn LeRoy exactly as songs transition from "Speak to Me" to "Breathe". However, this does not match the starting point of the 'third roar'.When using this, the screaming from "Breathe" begins right as LeRoy's name appears.
A vinyl recording can also be used by cuing up the beginning of the record at the third roar of the MGM lion and dropping the needle when pressing play. At the end of 'The Great Gig in the Sky', and side one of the record, the farm house in the movie falls out of the sky landing on the screen turning it black. This is where one pauses the movie, and turns the record over to side two. (It is also a good place to start if the record becomes out of synch.)
What am i talking about here.. There is a specific term for this phenomenon..
