connect..

Magha from Kalinga had invaded Y with a “savage force” of Keralite mercenaries in 1215. One of his strongest fortresses was in Pulachchery, which is said to be X in the modern times, as both Pulachchery and X mean “bird sanctuary”.Parakramabahu II had to take the help of the Cholas and Pandyas to get rid of Magha and his Keralite hoardes. Chandrabhanu II, an invader of Malay origin, also helped. X is the part of the connect.

Dei kutty, cheapass! I only know few answers da.... At least let me answer those in peace... I read some hundreds of articles after the sri lankan army operations started.

My two cents-

There was some problem in Kilinochchi around the 1996 period for some 2-3 years da... it is concurrent with Sri Lanka's dream run in the 1996 world cup when they got free bye in the league stages and then went on to thrash the other teams... the time when Jayasuriya's strokeplay came to be a force to reckon with.. In that premadasa test I think SL scored some 900-odd runs with Jayasuriya putting 300-plus.

no one's gotten the connect..

kilinochi is right and its the ltte admin capital types..

the scorecard , the important thing is the stadium where the match happened.. its the R Premadasa Stadium

and deccan chargers home stadium is Rajiv Gandhi Stadium..

both are prime ministers/presidents assasinated by the LTTE..
